A seventh grade student goes from winning the Eton School Geography Bee to qualifying and participating in the State of Washington's Geography Bee. The Washington Geography Bee was a challenging afternoon for all (including the audience) as students competed and strived to do their best.
Celebrating Our Students
Here in the Student Spotlight, we celebrate the participation and accomplishments of students both inside and outside of school.
Parents/Guardians, if your child received an award, does community service, plays on a team, dances, acts etc., please e-mail that information to email@example.com. Please keep the information to a short paragraph (3 to 4 sentences) and feel free to attach a digital photo (no greater than 4 x 6 inches). Then look for the “Spotlight” to shine on your child here.
What happens when students in grades 4-8 decide to raise funds for hurricane relief? They earn donations rather than just ask!
Lower Elementary students create Picasso-style self portraits as part of Students Rebuild's "Facing Difference Challenge."
Two young students receive a very special ride to school with lights flashing.
A weekend of togas, gladiatorial combats, Roman wrestling, myths, academic competitions, and more? Yes, it's JCL time!
