Amendment to the Eton School Parent Council Bylaws (Article VII: Amendments)
These bylaws may be amended at the May Annual Meeting by a two-thirds vote of the members present. Any member of the Parent Council may propose amendments to the Executive Committee. The Executive Committee shall forward all proposals in their entirety to the Board of Trustees by March 1. The Board of Trustees will approve, reject or work with the Executive Committee to clarify the proposed amendments. Amendments to be voted on shall be published to the entire Parent Council no less than one month in advance of the May Annual Meeting.

Get to Know Your 2021-2022 EPC President
Next year’s President is Tiffany Sparks-Keeney, who was this year’s Vice President. The office of the President is not voted on as this is a two-year commitment, and they are first voted in as Vice-President. Tiffany has a child in third grade and one in P4. When her oldest daughter started at Eton, she immediately noticed the sense of community between faculty, staff, and families. Everyone was so welcoming and caring that there was an instant sense of belonging. As EPC President, she is honored to contribute to and help nurture the Eton community.
Meet Your 2021-2022 EPC Slate of Candidates
Vice President: Subha Krishnan
Subha had a child in third grade and another in P4. Being part of the EPC Executive Committee gives her the pleasure of strengthening her bond with Eton school and being closer to the Eton parents. She sees it as a way not only to build and connect but a means to give back to the Eton community. She enjoys the purposeful conversations during the meetings that drive to make a difference in the lives of Eton family members, a cause that she cares about deeply.
Treasurer: Janani Sowprnika Arvind
Janani has two daughters at Eton. The oldest is in third grade, while the younger one is in P4 in Mezzo. They have been part of the Eton family for the last five years, and her children have loved every single moment. She is happy to be part of the EPC Executive Committee as it helps foster connections between the school and the parents' community through monthly newsletters, executive meetings, learning events, and other volunteer-run school events for children.
Secretary: Nina Helms
Nina’s child is in the first grade. Nina is excited to join the EPC Executive Committee to learn more about the school, meet members of this community, and give back to the school. As a family, she feels so grateful for Eton. They moved to the area during a very difficult time, and the entire school community has welcomed them with open arms and offered them a safe place to land.

Araks’ child is in the first grade. She is happy to become a working piece of this wonderful group and hopes to be a positive liaison for encouraging even more parent involvement.
