In Casa 5 (Upper Elementary grades 4-5), students thought about what gratitude meant to them and how they should practice it year-round. They discussed that even the smallest acts can go a long way.
The class read We Are Grateful, listened to the author talk about her Cherokee culture, and thought more about gratitude.
They wrote what they were grateful for on a strip and attached them, Möbius Strip style. Each day their gratitude is strip grows.
