A Note From the Head of School

When I first visited Eton School in 2011, I was immediately struck by the sense of community that permeated every aspect of the school and the dynamic learning environment from Pre-elementary through Middle School. Eton School is a place where inspired and engaged students thrive under the guidance of an outstanding cohort of committed and conscientious teachers who truly know their students.

For nearly half a century, Eton School has been guided by and inspired by the philosophy of Maria Montessori. Founded in 1978 with 75 students in grades 1-3, Eton School has grown to over 300 students ranging from age 3 to grade 8. From an initial facility of three classrooms, we now occupy several different buildings over four acres, including a recently completed renovation of our Middle School space. The Eton School programs have expanded to include robust enrichment offerings to match the academic excellence of core classes. Through all the changes that have happened at Eton School, in education, and the world, the core of who we are and what we do remains true to the vision that was present at the beginning.

At every level, one finds students engaged in meaningful learning activities in a joyful environment where adults and children form interpersonal relationships that are both rich and rewarding. We hope your exploration of our website provides a glimpse into the joy at Eton School. Our program and the Eton experience are, however, best experienced in person. We would love to have the opportunity to meet you and help your family discover the magic that happens here every day.
