Welcome back to school everyone! I am excited to see all the returning students back to school and getting to know all the new students and their families. I hope your summer break was filled with fun activities and that you are ready to step into a great year in Mezzo B.
In accordance with the all school theme, which is The Power Of Plants, as a start, Mezzo B will learn about the plants that are unique to the countries that are represented at the Multicultural Fair event.
We will read the book called Our Peaceful Classroom which teaches the basic social skills such as sharing, using hands for helping, taking turns and speaking kind words to each other. Taking care of self and the environment is a huge part of their daily routine, and in doing so, children develop sense of independence, fine motor skills and concentration that are crucial for their learning.
Here is to another year of growing and becoming!
