Mezzo 4's "Power of Plants"

The weather is cooler and the swimming pools are closed. It must be the beginning of a new school year! Welcome to our new and returning families. We hope everyone had some time to enjoy the outdoors during this past summer as our all school theme is the "Power of Plants." As you can see, our class garden is producing tomatoes. We hope we can enjoy them before the birds get to them!

It's always great to see the growth in our returning students. They are not only physically taller, but they also eager to get right to work. They are such good role models for our new students.
We will begin our year getting acquainted with friends, teachers, and routines. Our first studies will focus on the needs of plants and how we use plants. We'll share our special encounters with plants we had over the summer.

Like plants beginning as seeds, needing love and care, we begin our new school year nurturing all our students so they too will grow strong and productive.
