Mt. Storm King on the Olympic Peninsula

The fifth grade students are spending the first week of school on the Olympic Peninsula for their annual environmental education. In keeping with this year's theme, Power of Plants, their focus is on changes in plant life as they hike their way up Mt. Storm King. Throughout this week, the students are given many opportunities to build relationships and work in group situations as they study the wonders of nature at Olympic National Park. What a wonderful way to begin the school year!
