Eton School's Commitment to Security
Eton School does not collect personal information such as domain names and e-mail addresses from the users of its Web site. Aggregate information is collected on what pages consumers access or visit; and e-mail addresses are recorded when messages are sent to our e-mail server. When personal information is volunteered for registration to afterschool childcare and Parent-Teacher Conferences, information is collected inside the private password-protected region of the Web Site accessible only by families enrolled in the current school year; and the user is requested to only volunteer the name of the child being registered.

In terms of security, we have appropriate security measures in place in our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you at our site.

Personal Information that Eton School May Collect Online
We collect the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail; aggregate information on what pages consumers access or visit; and information volunteered by the user, such as registration for childcare and Parent-Teacher Conferences.

How We Use Personal Information Collected Online
The information we collect for registrations are used for internal review and is then discarded. Aggregate information collected is used to improve the content of our Web site. This information is not shared with users not logged into the private password-protected region of the site accessible to families enrolled in the current school year, or to other organizations.

Computer Tracking and Cookies
Our Web Site is not set up to track, collect or distribute personal information not entered by users. Our site logs do generate certain kinds of non-identifying site usage data, such as the number of hits and visits to our sites. This information is used for internal purposes by technical support staff to provide better services to the public and may also be provided to others, but again, the statistics contain no personal information and cannot be used to gather such information.

A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a Web Server and stored on your computer's hard drive. Eton School uses cookies to provide easier site navigation and access to the private password-protected region accessible by our current families during a session that lasts 15 minutes. You can still use the Eton School site if your browser is set to reject cookies. Our cookies do not generate personal data, do not read personal data from your machine and are never tied to anything that could be used to identify you.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy
We may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future we will post the policy changes in the Eton Edition home-school newsletter and to our Web Site to notify you of these changes and we will use for these new purposes only data collected from the time of the policy change forward. If you are concerned about how your information is used, you should check back at our Web Site periodically.

Customers may prevent their information from being used for purposes other than those for which it was originally collected by e-mailing us at the above address.

Site visitors may access all information that we maintain about them in the childcare and Parent-Teacher Conferences registrations, when loggged into the private password-protected current family side of the Web Site.

Upon request we offer visitors the ability to have inaccuracies corrected in transaction information. Information may be corrected by sending us an e-mail at the above address, calling the Main Office at the above telephone number, or sending an e-mail to the classroom teacher.
